Bringing Kansas back to
the middle.
We are a grassroots group of Kansas volunteers. Our group is growing and energetic. Our team is made up of people like you. People who know Kansas is a wonderful place to live. A place where communities look out for one another and believe in a bright and exciting future together.
We are regular Kansans with experience but most importantly, we also have passion and determination. We are unimpressed with the current two major parties.
Together we are building a new party for moderate Kansans who believe working together is how we will have the most impact. Our common ground is much bigger than our differences.
Join us in defending democracy in Kansas.
Who do we think we are?
Why are we doing this?
The short answer is simple: we are doing this to defend our democracy.
Democracy matters. It gives every one of us a say in what kind of world we leave for our kids and grandkids. In our democracy, Kansans don’t sit on the sidelines. We show up, we speak out, and we work together because every voice matters, every vote counts, and good ideas can come from anyone.
When Kansans pull together, there’s no challenge we can’t face. We can build a future where freedom, fairness, and opportunity belong to everyone. Democracy isn’t just about government. It’s about Kansas neighbors looking out for each other, standing up for what’s right, and making sure every generation has a fair shot at a good life.
But for this to happen, moderates need to establish their own collective voice. It must be grounded in competence, fiscal responsibility, and pragmatic governance. A voice that respects the Constitution, embraces diverse perspectives, and focuses on real solutions to shared problems.
We believe all voices matter, including those further left or right. But it’s time the voice of the Kansas middle is heard too. In 2024, only 17 percent of registered voters cast a ballot in the primary elections. That means the candidates we chose from in November were selected by a small group of highly energized and often single-issue voters while independent voters weren’t even allowed to participate.
To make matters worse, in both 2022 and 2024, 40 to 50 percent of Kansas House districts had unopposed “elections.” The only candidate on the general election ballot was the one chosen in a low-turnout primary. That is not how a healthy democracy is supposed to work.
Our new party will give Kansas voters a real choice in the general election and a real chance to defend, renew, and improve the America we inherited. This isn’t about protest. It’s about lasting, systemic change. It’s about finally doing something and making it stick.
